Call just started. Who’s listening?

edit: This call was for northern Alberta. Other regions will get their own calls.

Surprising the amount of people who seemed to be against it, or at least weren’t all for it.

Even the panelists sounded like they weren’t completely sold on it.

Mostly it sounded like an episode of Cross Country Checkup (cbc radio program).

        Thanks for your summary.

I’ve heard of polls that show 70% of Alberta’s oppose leaving the CPP. And if you all Albertans whether or not the majority favour leaving, we mostly realize it’s not popular.

This raises the question of why Danielle Smith would put this forward. Unless it’s either to incite outrage from her base, or to decide against leaving the CPP and say: Look! I listened to Albertans.

The popular theory is the cons want to get their hands on the money so they can use it for their own personal gain, likely by “investing” in oil & gas companies.

It was just Northern Alberta today. They`ll be doing four more for other regions.

Were reporters allowed in this town hall? I’m wondering if there will be a recap or a summary for those of us that missed the townhall.
