I thought Unifor was using target bargaining, and had closed a deal already with Ford. Is GM trying to get a different deal, or are they hung up on some detail specific to GM?
The article was just updated to say a tentative deal was reached. According to the union it seemed GM was a little reluctant to go along with the pattern deal.
Next it will go to members. It will be interesting to see if it will be ratified by them or if the bargaining team will have to try harder.
