    It’s been a long time coming unfortunately. I’ve been fighting for open and interoperable systems for two decades and I’ve always been met with pushback from my non technical friends. And it makes sense because they just want to get stuff done.

    I’m just happy that people are now seeing the damage caused by proprietary systems and lock in. At least it’s becoming mainstream so hopefully people start moving to more open systems where enshittification is more difficult.
