Well… I guess at least requiring that self-driving cars be at minimum as good as humans, that makes for an achievable benchmark, cuz we suck at driving too!
To be fair, it looks like what happened could have easily happened to a human driver too. Human driver hit a woman, making her fall right in front of another car who stopped when they were over them.
But, the human wouldn’t have stayed on top of the woman
