A woman riding a lawnmower next to an Oklahoma airport runway was killed when she was struck by the wing of an airplane.

    I initially imagined the woman was mowing her own private property when the incident happened.

    She was probably a worker at the airport trimming the grass around the runway. This is likely a non towered airport to no ATC to guide the plane about obstacles on and around.
