This year is going to be a struggle for the management team. They’ll need to do what Dubas consistently did which is find those fringe guys or low cost depth players. This is going to be a big challenge for Treliving coming out of the gate

I’d like to see them find a way to keep O’Reilly (away from the tim hortons lol…if you know, you know), and get Perry + Lucic for league min, or right next to. A line like that isn’t going to do much in the regular season, but could be a real fuck around and find out line in the playoffs.

One of the core four has to go. Especially with a Matthews situation. There’s so much you could get with that space. Vladar might be available out of Calgary as well, could package something to get Lucic, Vladar + maybe Lindholm or Hanifan for a Nylander + something or someone. Or something like that.
