Huge second for Van Gogh’s Starry Night. To spice it up a bit, my fave contemporary artist is Alex Grey
If considering an artist’s whole career, I have to give it to Bernini. I have a soft spot for polymaths, and his sculptures in particular are still outstanding to this day.
