I actually find it faster sometimes to go to phind and use their gpt-backed search to build me a simple ansible playbook than it would be to go dig through my old archives and find the one I wrote to do the same job at a previous client.

Anybody in this industry who doesn’t think it is going to impact them is an idiot. Plain and simple.

So far just for small stuff like writing small functions for me, looking up API calls, etc. I have had GPT4 give me decent answers about how to design a feature, which is cool. The major problem is it lies sometimes or generates code that doesn’t actually work. It has been helpful though.
