    Hey, ZM, glad to see you are active here!

    Do you think we will see much engagement here? It seems like all the more conservative subs are fine with Reddit’s changes and are glad to see us go, so I wonder if any of them will join the migration.

      We will see. The numbers on Lemmy are still pretty small overall. Two things need to happen, I think, for a subreddit community like this to gain traction here. First, enough people need to be on Lemmy that some decent conversations can happen in the more niche communities, such as this one. Second, it’s going to depend somewhat on the demographics of the people that come to Lemmy.

      Time will tell, but at least the community exists now. And I figured since it wasn’t here when I signed up I might as well create it, and then I’m in on the ground floor for helping set the tone of it.

      If it does gain traction I’ll be looking for moderator help and better development of the sidebar content.

    Somehow I don’t think you’re going to get a lot of people willing to take the side of religion on this site.
