There are a lot of ways to play the old video games. For me, my favorite way is with one of the little 3rd party retro game devices. I had a RGB10 Max 2 and it was great, but I dropped it and it broke. Im using an RG35XX and it’s working great for PS1 and earlier. I’d love to get something more powerful for PS2 games but maybe in the future.

Chat in here about if you have a little handheld or your particular way of playing these great old games!

I love my handhelds to the death, but I also appreciate the versatility of the Nintendo Switch, so I often end up swapping the save files from my Anbernic device into my Nvidia Shield TV 😅

I’d love to know if there is a better way to achieve this though.

I’ve got a PSP for handheld emulation. It’s pretty good, runs well on most games. I imagine my Vita will be better when I actually get around to modding it.

I’ve never officially tested it but it lasts a long time. Don’t run games off UMD it will drastically decrease battery life

Anyone know of a good phone attachment? I’m sure my phone has more than enough power for most emulation.

I’ve used the Gamesir X2 and it works well. Only issue is I can’t have my phone case on at the same time, so I have to take it off. I think I have the 2nd revision, there is a 3rd one out now last I heard.

I’ve got a Retroid Pocket 3+ and I adore the thing. It was originally a 3 and I upgraded the PCB and analog sticks. I didn’t realize how fun it is to exchange your own parts.

I just recieved my Miyoo Mini + yesterday and I’m blown away with the PS1 performance! Unsure about the size though, it’s much smaller that I expected. Time will tell. OnionOS is superb though
