I guess Lemmy really is a more tech-savvy crowd—this is a [email protected] post.
To be fair, I was hesitant about posting it here, but there aren’t many niche meme communities yet.
I’m a (Neo)Vim user myself. All other text entry feels primitive.
Neovim is truly the best editor indeed.
Just keep using vim until you don’t need to think about it anymore. I’ve been using it for 20+ years and probably couldn’t tell you half the keybindings I use just without thinking.

- memorize so many keyboard shortcuts they can’t remember anything else
- tell everyone they’re using Vim
