So i for some reason i can’t get fritz to give me lockpicks and also get my friends to help beat up kunesh.
Ive talked to kunesh he refuses, i interact with his chest(says i need lockpicks). Go talk to my friends ask for help, do the deed.
And from here on out nothing i do can i get both the lockpicks and get help with the fight. Sometimes I can’t get my friends to do anything. they don’t help with the fight and walk away I can’t talk to Fritz and get lockpicks, what is going on.
What am i doing wrong please anyone help me i want to like this game. But this just screams red flags for rest of the game. If you know what’s going on please help
Iirc I had the same issue with that particular mission, I restarted the game and it triggered correctly, I think you have to help your friends in the tavern first to have them help you in the fight. You can also loose the fight and your Mom will patch you up. You can also skip Kunesh altogether by just selling random stuff you find around skalitz. And it is possible to beat him by yourself, in KCD fistfights you don’t get damage while you still have stamina, so just try to avoid his punches and try to sneak in some hits. If he starts to swing you can land the quicker hit. But it’s tricky, you’re not really supposed to win the fight by yourself. The fights in KCD are hard but you’ll get skills eventually, after all your just a peasant boy in the beginning.
Stick with it, this particular mission was annoying for me too, but I thoroughly enjoyed most of the game. I didn’t have much issues with mission events triggering strange after that, I think in the second game there was a mission that had a similar problem.
Thank you, but honestly if the opening of the game has this many problems and my perfectionism and hoardism is going to drive me to do everything I can I think I may just skip this game I’ve put over 10 hours into this opening segment and just no. The start of the game is what’s supposed to hook you and this just drives me up the wall because it just doesn’t do what it’s supposed to thanks again but I think I’ll just move on
That’s a shame because the game really just starts after that first segment in skalitz, the scene following shortly after took my breath when I played it the first time, the level design is just stunning after skalitz. This first mission is just strange, but like I said, you can beat it without Kunesh or fight him by yourself, but fights are purposely hard in this game.
I get what you’re saying, what you’re saying and what other people say is why I wanted to try the game. I’m not even complaining about the fights themselves I’m not even trying to beat kunesh I just want to be able to ask Fritz for the lock picks and then get my friends to help with kunesh and they just will not do that. I’ve put 10 hours into it and they refuse so I just won’t play the game cuz I can’t play it my way. I can get one of those things and sometimes I can’t get either. That’s dumb
