Personally, Id rather buy Razer than Steelseries. I had a SteelSeries Pro Wireless (the $250 one with the interchangable batteries) and I loved it.

Then it broke because of bad hinge design the week after the warranty expired. I take care of my things, but it snapped an ear cup off just when I took the headset off normally. They wouldn’t even let me but the parts I needed to fix it myself because they stopped production to make new ones.

Never buying SteelSeries again. Horrendous customer service, and terrible design on headphones.

Razer is overpriced, but my Nostromo still works and didn’t break just from normal use.

I think you’ll still be able to get the skin without buying the Razer peripheral.
