      I wouldn’t say fake, just staged. Entirely possible that they couldn’t find where the shoe was run over (may have traveled along the road away from its origin) and just plopped it on the nearest line

        It was sitting on the road, so I took a picture of it. I didn’t move it.

      I just took this picture this morning. I’m assuming the line was repainted recently, and probably in multiple coats. It looks like under the shoe is missing a coat.
