Hi everyone,

We checked this community this morning and saw that we’re up to 54 subscribers, all with no active posts prior to this!

We want to say a few things to the 53 of you that aren’t us.

Each subscriber represents a Canadian that resonates with this community’s purpose. We see this and we sincerely appreciate you all.
This community is new. We want to take our time and do things right. We’re new to Lemmy, like many others, and with our own good reasons.
We ask that you please be patient while we get things set up.

You are all free to post on your own now - or wait until we are ready to post things that are valuable for our fellow Canadians with a desire to navigate Canadian-focused and based enterprise.

We won’t let you down. As long as this community exists, please know we are working on it - even if it takes some time. If you know any Canadians who resonate with this community’s cause, you’re of course welcome to share it with them if you’d like to.

Again, many thanks from the two of us who are also navigating the new and in-depth world of Canadian business.

This community is intended to address the grievances, troubles, and issues experienced by Canadian businesses and not-for-profit organizations, as well as those who are new to or in the midst of starting a Canadian enterprise of any size.

This community is currently opened on a trial basis and subject to change.

Please note: I am co-owner of a small Canadian Corporation. Our mission is to build a service to help Canadians with their businesses, as well as not-for-profits. However, our company is seeking what’s troubling Canadians in their ventures. Ultimately, we want to create a service which makes sense for Canadians and helps them where they need it most. To do this, we need your thoughts. We will use this information to structure our own business accordingly. Our goal is to solve problems through mutual, individualized, and happy agreements. We are ones for transparency, fairness, and understanding. A place for reviews of our service will be available for all clients, as to give the community a sense of their satisfaction. We commit to making your business life easier, keeping client size at a limit which does not sacrifice quality or attention, and providing fair deals. Your business or not-for-profit is never too small to succeed, and you can get the help you need. Of course, all members are able to comment on solutions for others as well. We want Canadian businesses to thrive, not falter. To avoid pre-emptive promotion, the business name will not be listed until it’s ready to provide real value based on Canadians’ feedback. Thank you.
