Started looking at some Reddit alternatives today with the upcoming change to API policy. This seems like a cool option that lines up with my values. Super pumped to find a hockey community here as that was my main interest on Reddit. Still trying to figure out exactly how to use Lemmy, so any tips would be appreciated! Any team specific communities? I’m a leafs fan for reference

    Yeah I didn’t participate much on Reddit at all but I feel a bit more inclined given the size of this community. Team specific can come later if needed, just happy to find some other hockey fans!

      Whenever I commented there there was a 50% chance of getting a snarky comment that really put me off most of the time. I hope this community stays positive for a while.
