        That all depends on the position. It’s more important for ones like prone bone and doggie, but less for ones like missionary and cowgirl.

      It’s a French curve ruler. IIRC the original French curve was used for drawing and drafting, having multiple curves and cutouts. This was developed with the graduations and solid shape specifically for sewing.

      Obviously dirty seamstress dick jokes as well.

    It’s important to remember that this angulation is based on the top percentage that have this standard curvature. It will not be accurate for those outliers whose angle is higher or lower than the norm
