It’s almost as if systematically dismantling your health care system is a bad idea.
The UCP have been doing this for years in the hopes of painting the system as ineffective so that they can better sell a privatized system like the US has.

The part that makes me so angry is the UCP goes into this knowing it’s going to get people killed, but they do it anyways, and they misappropriate funds from the AHS coffers to line their pockets while their doing it. They need people to get killed though so enough Albertans will say to themselves “well, I’d rather pay for healthcare than die in a waiting room”. Then the UCP can sell off all the healthcare infrastructure we’ve spent decades accumulating for pennies on the dollar to whoever hands them the best gift basket.
These folks have to be sociopaths, or so utterly detached from the consequences of their policy decisions, kids dying of measles, waiting rooms falling apart, and they’re focused on excluding trans people in the province.
I keep repeating myself, this isn’t just stupidity or incompetence at this point, it’s full blown kleptocracy enabled by political psychosis.
