I am planning on buying a vacuum cleaner. Are there any European brands?

I’ll put in a word for Rowenta from France. They make vacuums both in France and China. The high end stuff is made in France and good.

Miele sucks a golf ball through a garden hose Brudi. I’m more of a Kärcher man though because I put my penis inside it.

C3 complete series is just the best around. But now that’s gone away and I don’t know which of the Guard series replaces it.

Boost CX1 is mediocre but good for a bag-less.

I have a pretty new Bosch that runs on the grid, love it. It’s extremely silent unless I turn it up to the max, in which case it’s crazy powerful.

Henry is the only hoover you ever need and it’s British. If you go round the houses with other brands you’ll end up buying a Henry :-) might as well get one now

Love my Henry. He is indestructible and has incredible suction. I 100% expect him to outlive me. And Numatic are an excellent company WRT righy-to-repair. I think they still supply spare parts for the very first henry ever made. Very easy decision - get a henry.

    https://nilfisk.com/

    Standalone for now.

On December 11, Nilfisk released a company announcement stating that Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions GmbH has expressed its intention to acquire all issued and outstanding shares of Nilfisk through a public tender offer.

Just purchased a Sebo E3, made in Germany with some parts sourced from Canada.

Miele is German, but now has some parts and lines from China and South Korea.

Dyson and Numatic (who make the Henry vacuum cleaners) are both British.

As someone from the UK, please avoid Dyson.

He supported Brexit saying that he’d invest in more UK manufacturing then as soon as it happened, moved even more manufacturing overseas.

On top of that he’s a massive cunt to his workers and the quality of Dysons have gone downhill so much they break as soon as they’re out of warranty.

Numatic international (Henry) on the other hand are top quality, built to last, keep manufacturing in Europe and the UK, and aren’t lead by a dickhead.

Seriously, you’ll move house a dozen times before a Henry hoover gives out on you, every single professional cleaner in the UK uses a Henry or other Numatic International model (if they’re not using an industrial cleaning brand) because they’re built more robust than a bastard child of a Panasonic Toughbook and a Nokia 3310.

What’s funny is that when he first started moving production outside of the UK, he said it was because the pound was too strong and the UK wouldn’t join the Euro.
