Putin’s vision has been formalized in the “New Philosophy of Formation” developed by the Russian Children’s Centre in conjunction with Znaniye, a Soviet-era organisation relaunched in 2015 to provide state-approved educational guidance and resources to the public. The new philosophy aims to unify approaches to moral and academic education, incorporating schools, families and community organizations in the process. It focuses on “improving children and young people’s capabilities” and instilling approved spiritual and moral values.
To live and die in misery, because some assholes on top have an alcoholic, inferiority-complex grudge against a myriad demons in their own narrow miserable minds, which they project out at everyone and everything, including their own.
The only thing russians seem to hate more than their own lives, are the lives of others.
Putin really does not see it. Ukraine really does not matter to the West, but by killing his youth he long term destroys Russia as a serious threat. Same story with his military equipment. There is a reason many in the West do not want Ukraine to win quickly. The war destroys Russia as a serious threat long term. The longer it lasts, the weaker Russia is going to become.
The guy’s 70 years old, what does he care about the future?
He is afraid he will be forgotten.
In the end everyone will be forgotten.
10 thousand years from now even Alexander the great may be forgotten. Especially if nuclear Armageddon happens.
Alex who?
You are absolutely right, but I would like to highlight that many is not a majority.
Majority of us want to see this over ASAP with Russia bleeding on the floor and Ukraine getting a good rest and reconstruction.
He does see it but he doesn’t care.
It’s sad, but it’s probably the true reason behind the delayed weapons deliveries (tanks, planes etc)
How can russian teachers coordinate quietly, to discuss responses to this? And the older students too? Could the fediverse play a role, as it’s hard for the state to shut it down? I’m recalling how, in the 1980s, samizdat (self-printing of books) and later magnetizdat (self-copying of music), as well as anekdoti (complex jokes…), helped to crumble the general trust in the state propaganda (especially after chernobyl).
