I just moved to AZ from CA and was at the grocery store picking up a small amount of alcohol but it was packed in there, and self-checkout was going much quicker. I asked the attendant if I could check out my alcohol at self-checkout and he gave me the strangest look, and was like: “yeah, we’re not California, go ahead.”

Damn, I felt so called out, lolol.
