Not our problem. We’re not the ones that elected a fascist government. Twice.

“We’ve tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas”

Maybe overthrow that fascist government of yours.

The best part about all these articles is that the Americans talk about how much they love Canadians. When it comes down to it though, they just love the dollars. There is nothing else they refer to loving about them in the articles from what I’ve seen.

    My favorite part:

Border town officials say there’s a range of reasons why Canadians aren’t heading south anymore — from the weak exchange rate compared to the U.S. dollar, to the lack of consumer carbon tax making gas a little bit cheaper up north.

No mention of the threat of arrest, disappearance, being shot, etc.

Or threat of annexation to their country. Little things like that tend to sour relations slightly.

“We’re frustrated,” the lawyer added. “I don’t know what to do. You can only say, ‘We love Canadians,’ so many times.”

We don’t need false flattery of fictitious affection. We need you to put an abrupt stop to your descent into a fascist hellhole, reinstate the rule of law and order, jail the criminals, execute the treasonous and war criminals, end the threats to your former allies sovereignty then be a great neighbour uninterrupted for 75 years until everyone who remembers your betrayal is dead of old age. Then the healing can begin.

Maybe impeach the Diaper Don and his criminal regime and we’ll start traveling across the border again, in about a decade.

Well, he’s been impeached several times already, not like it has consequences.

Nope, because once trust is broken (see; Thermocline of trust) n and new patterns are established (see: why do so many Canadians spend time at the New Jersey shore), that’s it. There may be some visits, especially for national parks, but tourism will never recover to where it was before.

They can do …it and I’ll break my boycott temporarily for a night in celebration.
