Is it really too much to ask that people not kill each other? I’ve lived 34 years and never had any trouble not killing people. It’s more trouble to kill people than to not. Murder really isn’t worth the effort.

Agreed, but murder and violent crime rates are at the lowest rates in 25 years, and less than half what they were in the 70s. Thats at least moving in the right direction.

You’re home server implies you’re in Canada, there just aren’t that many murders here. It’s just a question of scale, millions of people add up. Quebec, for example, has a murder rate of less than one per 100,000.

It’s just basic statistics. Let’s say that 1 in 100 (murders are rare, as people usually don’t like killing) people kills someone, for one reason or another, like self-defense, money, revenge, war, paranoia, a quest, removing witnesses, minor annoyance or just general other+offence. Then, there are about 10-ish billiard bouillon bi-something people. Now, multiply the sample size by the probability and you get 10,00,00000,0000 deaths. That’s more than the population of a small country!

It’s not hard to kill. The only hard part is choosing the method. So many options so little time.

Because the people didn’t live through whatever was done to them
