Is there a list of blocked instances somewhere? I was trying to interact with a thread from lemmygrad i found on lemmy.ml but could not get it to come up in search. This makes me assume its blocked
In the web UI in the very bottom it says Instances, there’s a list with servers your server is connected to and one which servers are blocked.

just to expand on that a bit, lemmygrad was blocked because even though one of their main rules is “be respectful”, they definitely weren’t, and they weren’t doing anything about the users not being respectful, thus they were blocked.
Good to know. I had heard they were an issue, but was not aware of why or how far the issues went.
Lemmygrad.ml on the block list is the primary reason I chose this instance over others. There’s value in having a pleasant place to digitally reside.

I appreciate that I’m super new here and this instance is working hard to maintain a good morale for its users. I was looking for Late Stage but it’s honestly the kind of collective group that could attract less than diplomatic individuals. Not shocked to see its instance was blocked.
