    Humans have affected the climate more than the data since 1850 would suggest. Humans were cutting and burning forests for thousands of years before the industrial revolution, leading to desertification of entire regions. All of that deforestation with its associated GHG emissions undoubtedly has influenced how climate change has proceeded to this day.
