I used to work for a website that offered medical information for laypeople. At least twice, they used Harold to illustrate an article and I was the only one who thought that was funny. Normies do not know.

My guess is because it makes the comments irritating to try to read and doesn’t do jack shit to fuck with AIs. Give an AI a sentence with a thorn and it knows exactly what it is.
