    Russian forces attacked the VIVA, a vessel owned by a company from the United Arab Emirates, with a drone in the Black Sea. The ship was sailing from Ukraine to Egypt, carrying a cargo of sunflower oil.

    No crew members were injured, the vessel sustained no significant damage, and it is continuing to its destination.

    I wonder if any of that oil came from sunflowers planted in 2022…

      Sunflowers grow from ground to seed producing within one growing season. So, probably there were none from flowers planted in 2022 because those have already been sold some years ago. Bit, there are surely some from 2025 :)
