The lamp isn’t used/connected any longer. It’s wide open around the building but no way to get there. The tractor won’t reach. 😟

Gonna have to monkey climb on the roof and probably straddle the main pitch to reach that lamp. I guarantee that’s how it got installed in the first place lol.

Wouldn’t even need to be a solar node. There’s a 120v circuit to the lamp if you wanted.

It’s not longer connected. Can’t step on the roof I think. It won’t carry a person.

Yeah, most sheet metal roofs are like that. You have to be careful and step only where the joists are. Understandable if you don’t want to go up there though

Probably possible to fly it up there with a drone and attach it somehow.

Or put some wooden planks on the roof to increase the weight distribution when someone climbs up.

We need a bucket crane thing or so. I am sure we find another place. This would be just easy to mount if it was reachable.

It’s quite tall. It’s a shop for tractors. I don’t think it’s doable really. We’ll find another spot. I just thought the post is perfect and the lamp can go anyways.

Do you have a potato cannon? They are used to launch ropes into trees when you can’t throw it that high. Then just pulley the node up and attach the rope somewhere more convenient. Attach some smaller lines to the node to orient it.

I don’t have a potato cannon. The solar node would still have to be mounted. It’s all ok. We find another spot.
