So Ohio Trump soy boys are whining that Trump is giving billions to the failing mini-trump Milei after they just took their soy sales to China.

So the people that overwhelmingly voted for a fascism want socialism to save them?

Those farmers wanted to hurt the rest of us for no reason other than they’re racist, entitled, stupid and gullible.

In their mind they deserve to be the in- group the law protects, but doesn’t bind, while everyone they don’t like is in the out group the law binds, but does not protect…

I’m all for sympathetic treatment. But, isn’t this how they promote accountability for others? Maybe this is the only way they learn anything. Otherwise, the next time a fascist is promising to hurt people they don’t like, they’re just going to trust them and vote then in again. And then we’re in a cycle. We’ve been building to it for decades now. What breaks that cycle? How do we get through to them? We can be better than them by not hunting them down and actively wanting harm. And by making sure they don’t starve to death as they lose everything. Some lessons need costs. I don’t know for certain that this is the way but compassion seems to come without memory.

In this country? We can’t even make sure school children don’t starve to death as they lose everything. If they have lunch debt, they’ve gotta pay!

Somehow, I cannot find a reason to be sorry here.

What makes me wonder: That money for Argentina, is that Trump planning for his time after presidency? Like making a run with the Airforce One before they put him behind bars for his crimes? Argentina took in quite a lot of Nazis, so he might find a nice place for retirement.

Name a single President in history that has been held accountable, outside of France.

There are dozens of examples if you look but one notable recent example is the South Korean president, Yoon Suk Yeol, who tried to coup and is now in jail.

              1. That’s not how capitalization works. When used as a title it’s always capitalized regardless of what country you’re talking about.
              2. He specified outside of France, meaning he meant in a global context and not just the US.

threat that Trump will ever face accountability

Name a single President in history that has been held accountable, outside of France.

We’re talking about American President’s in this bit of thread.

I know most here are above average reading level, but comments sometimes worry me. I remember my little kids coming home from school, being taught “context clues”.

Do Presidents that got assassinated count ? What about coup d’États ? There is a whole list… Or do you just mean legal prosecution ? I’m sure there are examples outside the USA, just look at the ICJ and ICC?

It’ll be interesting to see what the rich do with all the farmland once it’s not valuable anymore because we’re full fascist isolationist.

Well I’m sure North Koreans citizens might start eating better, and that’s honestly something.

I have heard opposition to it, but my own mother rants on end at how bad the windmills are, they have some whackadoodle fringe theories over there. The alternative, in her state, is coal plants that drastically increase the rates of cancer, especially kids, in a couple of cities.

I have the same BS here in North Carolina were we deal with “coal ash” that power companies buried underground. Now they are noticing about 30% of the kids that went to school in those areas are getting cancer and the power companies REFUSE to do anything about it and say it’s safe.

Coal is designed to give you cancer, nothing about it is clean. So the fact that donald trump stopped cancer research entirely, WHILE also giving coal the green light isn’t good for american’s at all.

Trump only has influence on China/World buying from US. Whether Trump helped exterminate Milei or prop him up, the soybeans from Argentina would flow, and in fact the worst their currency does, the cheaper they would be.

Trump’s focus on a Skynet ambition economy with global extortion is incompatible with preferring US agriculture/products. US economy was in recession last quarter without the Skynet spending.

A political bailout for Milei is simply bailing out the ideology of fascist austerity in friendship to US. Argentina will always choose trade with China because that is where the money is. US military/navy bases in Argentina is also where the bribery money is.

Plebs understanding of what political systems work and don’t work in the world have always been determined by US sanctions vs puppetry.

China wouldnt have bought US soy beans anyways, so there is no loss for the US here. The only way to get China to buy US soy, is to drop the tariffs…

Thank farmers for making voting decisions to deliver even more land to billionaires so they can further disenfranchise everyone else. They deserve it, but the rest of us don’t.
