For several decades, Liberal and Conservative governments have steadily militarized Canada. Since the end of the Cold War, peacekeeping numbers have dwindled while Canadian contributions to military interventions abroad have increased. Canada now ranks 70th out of 122 United Nations member states that contribute to peacekeeping operations.
I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with “fringe” opinions as long as the reader is critical. It’s better to have a wide range of opinions, regardless of where their biases fall on the political spectrum.
I don’t disagree but I also think it’s worthwhile to point out that they are fringe ideas. I didn’t say that it shouldn’t have been posted. I pointed out that it was a fringe blog and that there were probably better sources available.
