      Similar to rutracker, rutor or bakabt. They’re public but you need to sign up to access the torrent files and magnet links.

        No, Tribler is not a tracker, but a-la-bittorrent client. I don’t know why Helix chose the word private, even though Tribler is in beta and you shouldn’t rely on it if you life depends on it, the true goal is to be anonymous.

      We try to offer the “Google experience” that by default you never see spam, computer-generated linkfarm content etc.

      lol, have they ever used mail, search, youtube or google+?
