Atalanta have officially announced that midfielder Mario Pasalic has put pen to paper on a new contract extension, which ties him to the club until the summer

The 76-time Croatia international has signed off on a new three-year deal with La Dea, running until the summer of 2028, at which point Pasalic will be 33 years of age.

Pasalic has spent the last seven seasons with Atalanta, initially signing on loan from Chelsea for two consecutive seasons, before making his switch permanent in the summer of 2020 for a reported fee in the region of €15m.
