I don’t have many bombshells myself, unfortunately. Mostly just oldies and things I’ve been waiting on.

Hollow Knight is good for any price, but for $7.50 is a steal. Absolutely stellar game.

Another Crab’s Treasure is an…interesting one. I haven’t finished it, but it had fairly good combat, imo, and a very different atmosphere to the grimdark horrors we usually find in souls-likes. I do recall the leveling felt a bit lackluster, but maybe that was just me.

Nine Souls and TUNIC are two I’ve been considering for a little while now. I think I’ll nab Tunic and wait on Nine Souls a little longer, personally. Death’s Door also caught my eye at $5. Might be a good snag.

How about y’all? Any must haves with good deals this sale?

A lot of good games here, but I came to say don’t sleep on Nine Sols. Excellent vibe, stellar combat, extremely challenging. I absolutely loved it.

It all depends on your economic situation, and how much you enjoy that kind of game, but I think I paid full price for it with no regrets.

Well, I’ve platinumed Sekiro and I enjoyed Hollow Knight a lot - I understand it’s kind of a mix between the two? So I’d assume I’d like that style of game. The price is something else, of course

Nioh 2 is only of 50% but it’s my favourite game. It has the bonfire + bloodstain mechanics but the gameplay is a lot more ninja gaiden than souls. You don’t need to pay nioh 1 to play 2. I actually never played 1 despite 2 being my favourite because i couldn’t be bothered to be forced into the role of Geraldo of Nippon

Tunic is amazing. I wouldn’t say souls-like necessarily, more old school Zelda. Though the final boss is nails and very souls.

Tunic and Death’s Door are both great. DD won’t get as much praise, but it’s absolutely worth it for $5.

I was looking at lies of p but for $30 base game of still too much for me so i guess another year of waiting lol.

Same thing with elden ring DLC not being on sale so going to continue to wait for that as well especially since the reviews are pretty mixed and i didn’t love the base game to begin with.

I did see Thymesia go on sale (66% off) that i was looking at.

30€ is quite steep for Lies of P but still worth it, I’d wager. Objectively speaking, 30€ is still a lot of money, though, so I get that. They probably didn’t want to discount the game too much since the DLC just dropped.

      Thymesia might be worth it!

Yeah it’s doable if i really want it, but i don’t usually have much of a budget for games so usually I’m more patient and wait for steep discounts or GOTY editions discounted lol. Going to have to think about it over next two weeks!

I feel you. My spending on video games has also gone down in the past couple years and it’s for the better. I remember preordering games so often back when I worked at GameStop, only to sell the game off because I didn’t play it at all.

If you have a jailbroken PS4, you could get the game there too - that’s how I first played the game
