Why doesn’t anyone rebadge the Renault mentioned in the article and sell it in the states? It sounds like a worthy Bolt/Countryman competitor.
Renault does not have sales in the US. They do have a partnership with Nissan, but that has faced some issues, ever since the CEO who organized that cooperation became an international fugitive, by flying out of Japan in an audio equipment box to not be trialed for stealing money.
