I’ve had this part stored in my bedside drawer for years and I can’t remember what it’s for.
My best guess is it’s from an overlocker that I no longer have(?)
SOLVED: It’s a hinge cover for a fridge freezer set that clips together to look like one large machine. Thanks to everyone that contributed.
Oh, that would be it! Thank you, we have a fridge freezer set that can clip together to look like one large machine and we never used it because it didn’t fit in our kitchen like that.
I think it looks like they hose locking fitting for a dishwasher, I used to be a white goods repair man, horrible things to get back together after replacing inlet and drain hoses…
The secret to learning its purpose: throw it away, and wait until trash pickup…
I thought about doing just this.
Is it something to do with the light housing in your refrigerator?
I reverse-image searched through my favs (tineye, Google, yandex) and only got hits through yandex all in Russian. Best I can tell it’s something to do with with a fridge.

Because you said “bedside”, I’m going to guess this is part of Window Treatment. Do you have Venitian blinds or roller shades in your bedroom?
You were banging Geordi LaForge and he left his visor at your house?
Oh you can see right through me. 👀
But Geordi can’t anymore.
Something that came with a bathroom faucet to hold it together in shipping?
Man circle to search took all the challenge out of this lol
