I often hear stories from people about how they moved away from Christianity due to religious trauma.But I wonder how Christians who overcame it returned back to faith?

    Trauma led me away, and trauma brought me back. I dug into the history, beginning with ancient Sumer. I have a different understanding of what people call “God,” that makes more sense to me. And like some and unlike some, I do think we’re responsible for what we don’t know.

    Well in the case of my church growing up most the congregation moved past it by just ignoring the fact that the youth pastor had raped two young girls. Pretending it didn’t happen.
