Why would you even choose the U.S as a snowboard when Mexico is right there and costs way, way less?
Travel time ! Most canadians descending to their floridian location come from eastern provinces, and use RVs to undertake such perilous journey into the land of dangers. Nature is truly fascinanting, innit?
(In an another post in this community I learned a snowbird someone who leaves for a warmer climate during winter, not a bird fond of snow, in case someone else wonders)
