Can anyone please explain this one?
“Something is rotten in the state of Denmark” is a famous quote from Hamlet (the Shakespeare play).
I don’t get it either, beyond the Shakespeare connection (which has nothing to do with dead fish). Dos this relate to current events somehow?
No relation to current events. It’s an old cartoon (©1986) which was reposted to the cartoonists website today. The Far Side usually features somewhat absurd humor—maybe that’s just not the kind of thing you enjoy.
