Every once in a while, some party leader promises to implement proportional representation once elected, gets elected, and realises proportional representation never benefits the party that got the majority so they forget about it.
His son promised to remove it and then didnt. Fuck these people.

Proportional representation threatens the owner class of wealthy people in our country because a more democratic system would eventually remove their power and control.
No matter how much we want proportional representation… our owners will never allow it.
