When I asked if anyone uses matrix over discord in wow chat I was met with hostility. I can’t wait for that particular person to have their face eaten using discord.
Matrix, as it stands, is garbage.
Yes but soon it’ll be better than Discord. Sadly not because Matrix would’ve improved, but because Discord went downhill really hard.
Matrix doesn’t have the host of bots that discord has though, so it’s going to be a long time before discord actually gets shitty enough to force people to leave.
They killed message boards and are considering adding them.
Also new Blizzard CEO and upcoming IPO guarantees a record level of enshittification coming soon.
