Schools stalking their students’ social media profiles is actually just fucked up in the first place. Before social media, they had no way to invade a kid’s life outside of school this way. And the fact that it happens now without much of a fuss is alarming. Humankind really is just sleepwalking into fascism.
Schools stalking their students’ social media profiles
dude it’s not just schools…

the fake validation people think they’re getting on social media is just not fucking worth it
The family was presented with a document informing Armstrong that she had been suspended after the school got access to the privately shared message. The school alleges that Armstrong’s post was a “disparaging remark reflecting people at Tennessee Christian.” Referring to the message, the suspension document states, “The comment reflected on the institution, faculty, staff, alumni, and students in the most negative possible way.”
Not to reflect on them in a negative way, but it kinda sounds like they’re a bunch of bible-bashing assholes.
Sounds like!?! They literally quote the bible and call it sinful:
In the school’s most recent handbook, the Marriage, Gender and Sexuality section reads, “We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matt 15:18-20; I Cor 6:9-10.)”
They sound very much like the opposite of bible-bashers actually. People who bash on the bible do it because they dislike Christians and their hypocritical “values”. As an atheist, I am one of them.
Anything to do with religion that has any power should be banned.
Head of School at Tennessee Christian Prep, Jared Tilley, released a statement on behalf of the school, claiming that they have yet to be served with process for the lawsuit and expressed “deep disappointment over the inaccuracies contained in the alleged filing.”
We don’t have that file, judge, but it’s full of lies anyway.
Yeah that’s a worse case scenario.
Let me tell you why.
Trump said that the schools shouldn’t be directing it essentially, or risk being defunded. However, I don’t think his policies actually target the students them selves. If the student does come out on there own they shouldn’t be suspended period.
My point here is, If Trump doesn’t say that there shouldn’t be any students coming out at all permitted to attend schools, then not only is the school taking a transphobic action suspending but they are over enforcing trumps guidelines.
Thoughts? Maybe I missed something and that is something Trump directed someone can fill me in maybe. Either way doesn’t matter this is still wrong.
No you don’t get it. Trump said that schools can’t be “woke” or you’ll lose funding.
Trump doesn’t care if a school is intolerant, he will look the other way. His “guidelines” are only to be enforced and permit to subjugation on the liberals and Democrats.
Basically “fuck you whatever supports my agenda.”
So essentially even if the school isn’t what trump would call propagating it, you can’t even have the students enact on it on there own? If that is the case then. Again, the choice is still wrong that they are suspending the student so to that extent (that the decision is still wrong) I do get it. I just wasn’t as caught up to where exactly Trump’s policy were at the exact enforcement.
essentially you can’t have any “wokeness” (the rights words word not mine, as to why I quoted it) regardless who it comes from in public education. I still disagree with the fact the student got suspended. That wasn’t going to affect that. (if you knew that, that’s fine just putting that out there so people know where I’m coming from.)
