    I see it as Boomers who have forgotten their roots. Used to be hippies fighting for change, but now they won’t give up their power and have become the monster they were once trying to fight.

      I think you’re on to it here.

      This image seems to be ironically referring to an old Penthouse/Playboy cartoon from the 70s where a hippy is in a car waiting in traffic. He’s in a zippy little, gas-sipping car. Next to his car is another guy in a large gas-guzzling car. The hippy is saying something snarky to the other driver, referencing their car-size impact, or something like that.

      I did a quick image search, but can’t find the cartoon.

      If this was the goal, they should’ve done more to separate the age of the two subjects. They look the same age to me.

    I think it’s a reverse of roles.

    Usually it’s the “normal” joe who’se in his car complaining about hippie cylcists blocking up the road.

    Roving bands of wild stoned hippies are attacking innocent cyclists for their Arby’s! They’re a menace to society!
