ASRock mobos are exhibiting dynamic SOC voltage fluctuations which may be causing damage to 9000 series CPUs due to demanding too high power draw in a short amount of time.The fix may be in changing the “SOC OC” mode from auto to disable in UEFI settings.
- long term fix will be an AGESA/UEFI update from ASRock if this is the primary source of problems.
This has been “solved” as user error 2 months ago.

did you read the article. the phenomena is basically tied to asrock and aggressive dynamic voltage values, while other oems voltage values are near static.
while amd isnt a saint by any means, reading just the headline is extremely misleading.
