It’s a tough off-day when there’s no scoreboard to watch. I’d be lying if I said I’m not scared of the Jays pitching in Colorado, but you’ve gotta believe, right?

When we’re behind in the standings, I’d prefer the off day to be mutual between all the teams in the hunt. We can’t gain ground, but at least we can’t lose ground.

There was an article on sportsnet on maybe Brandon Belt retiring at the end of the season. At the beginning of the year, plenty of Jays fans were not impressed with his cold April but it’s been good to have him around all this time. I don’t think he would be back next year, and I really wish they’d let the younger prospects come up and give it a shot. Spencer Horowitz should do well to be a DH next year, and Addison Barger should come up for 3rd base (I’m not a believer that Chapman is back at all… someone will pay handsomely for his services) … Do you keep Whit as well and have him play LF, Varsho to center, Kiermaier out and Schneider at 2nd?

I’m kind of hoping we can re sign Kiermaier. Springer is going to need more and more time at DH going forward, and Keirmaier has been excellent in his role for us this year.
