    Israel has conscription, so if you hire a random Israeli person it’s very likely they served in the IDF, and not necessarily because they wanted to. For all the valid criticism of what Israel is and has been doing, I don’t see how this is an issue.

      Mandatory conscription still doesn’t excuse war crimes and a few Israelis find legal or illegal ways to avoid it
