      It technically is, I used my phone’s “magic eraser” feature to cover their plate.

      Google Photos doesn’t offer a pencil to cover up elements, only the magic eraser.

        This is enshittification at its best: Remove a basic and reliable tool (eraser) and replace it with some AI-assisted garbage.

          For real, though not all AI is bad. This isn’t generative AI, it’s just a neural network model running locally on my device, but I do wish they also offered a pencil feature.

          Edit: there was a pencil feature, I’m a numpty

        Oh how bizarre. Interesting solution. I couldn’t make sense of it considering the rest of the image was authentic.
