The last update broke a number of features:

Saving images will make the app

Block community or instance no longer working

Subscribe will constantly give “unsubscribed from…”

Hi, could you share more about what you’re seeing for the first issue with image downloads failing? I’ll take a look!

      Hey there,

First off all, it seems to have been resolved in the next release. Great going with multiple releases per week!

If it’s still out there for others: I see a post, click the image (either main posted image or some image in the comments), then I click the dots menu at the bottom, image info comes up. I click the downward facing arrow and then the app freezes, some 5 seconds later it gets closed (presumably by the OS?). Happens (happened) every time.

Wither way, fixed in the last release I received this morning

Update: image downloads is broken again but now to the point where it freezes the app until it crashes. Latest version on Android

      Same with images.

      v1.0.275

After update it asked me again where to save pictures, so probably it can’t correctly use app permissions to write files into filesystem and thus gets an exception it can’t handle.

There were status messages before that were informing me if the image was saved or something went wrong. Idk if they are still there as I don’t see any when this freeze occurs.

Idk why, but changing a folder where to save pictures helped it. I have 4178 saved images in /Pictures/Connect/, so maybe that’s that? I changed it to just /Pictures/. That was after a complete reinstallation that didn’t help anything.
