Bought on Amazon for about 800 less than MSRP, not sure why it was that “cheap” (still expensive) but I decided to give it a shot

Pros:

  • I’ve always been a huge tablet lover, so having one in my pocket for when I’m on the bus or at work is amazing

  • Everyone knows it’s great for selfies, but an advantage I see mentioned less often is how great it is for doing Makeup! Being able to zoom in 3x on my eyes and have it remain clear is amazing for putting on eye liner, I’d argue even better than a mirror

  • Multitasking is excellent and intuitive

  • The front screen’s skinniness is better once you get used to it, altho if you’re a big-phone person you simply may not like it

Cons:

  • Camera system is behind other modern flagships

  • Screen-anxiety is definitely a thing I worry about. Feels great so far but I’ve heard enough negative stories to be nervous

That’s about it, with no worries about durability and a better camera it’d be about perfect

I opted for a pixel 7 because even on sale… the previous gen told was like twice the price. I could afford it, but like, it’s pricey…

How do you find the battery life? Also, do you use the outer screen more than the inner screens?

MKBHD has the pixel fold and uses the outer screen more. Lew on unbox said he uses the outer screen more on a pixel but on the Samsung fold he uses the inner one because the outer was so thin.

I’m actually coming from a Pixel 7 Pro which I got for a cracked good deal.

The Fold 4 has better battery which I attribute to the 8Gen1+ being a great chip

I find I use the outter about 80% of the time when I’m out of the house, and about 40% of the time when I’m at home
