You aren’t a super power if you rely on Uncle Sam to defend you and your neighbors.
Does a superpower has to be a country or can it be a company too? Can’t we for example count Google as a superpower too or is Google under the belt of the US?

I live smack in the middle of the US, and I agree with this ranking. EU seems more trustworthy than my own country.

They are already a superpower, whatever is your opinion about it. But they are not the first for this reason mostly.
