Not sure if this counts as guitar porn for others. But it sure does the trick for me.
Found it in a small town shop, never sold, only played by the luthier. Comboed it with a spark 2 amp and I am absolutely loving it.
Gibsons silver burst is my favorite finish, not nuts about the back of the body but otherwise really nice looking guitar.
My son has that guitar, not with the art on it, of course, but it’s a good one.
I actually think that looks pretty rad! Don’t think I’d go for it myself but I love unique guitars that have a personality.
I had mixed feelings when I picked it up. I was looking at a schecter that was flat black and brass colour, but the shipping time was estimated at 6 months, and the US>Canada shipping+duty was going to come near adding 50% to the total.
The local shop I was working with put me in touch with their luthier and after about 45 minutes on the phone he convinced me to try this one. And it blew my mind. The whole thing just feels right in my hands.
